Nice informative post,...If we talk about the price of hid headlight conversion kit, it is becoming cheaper and cheaper, and most manufacturers are offering warranty of 1 year for kits. So it is a better idea to update halogen bulbs with latest technology HID bulbs.
One of the simplest DIY in cars. Even a first timer would be having no hard time doing this.
Could you give me advise? How can I retrofit my GS300 headlight with LS460 projectors? I've received your ls460 brackets, but body of my headlights is too small. What should I do? Cut off bi-xenon or cut the body?
If you are using LS460 bixenon, you will have to modify headlight housing. You can heat the bottom of the housing and push the plastic to expand to clear the bixenon motor.
Or you can cut a hole on the bottom to let the bixenon motor stick out and you can make a cover to seal it up.
